Date fruit of the date palm (Phoenix dactyliferous L.) is one of the highest quality tropical fruits which can only be grown in particular regions of the world. Date palm can be cultivated in harsh & semi-arid and arid environments which are located in a limited number of countries. Iran, because of its diverse climate, has been successful in date cultivation.
Dates are tasty and delicious with highly nutritious; in some parts of the world like the Middle East, dates have been as a main food for thousands of years or have been as a sucrose substitute, such as baby food. Dates fruits have economic value because all parts of them (date palm trunk, date palm leaves, date leaflets, date leaf bases, fruit stalks, date flesh, date seeds, date juicy) use for human. The date fruit is a commercial product, and most developed and developing countries are assuming dates as a valuable product. Also, this is the reason why manufacturers produce date products prolifically, for example date molasses, date paste, date liquid sugar, date powder sugar, chopped dates, date vinegar, date juice concentrate, date seeds, date seed powder, pitted industrial date and other products.
